Carol Miskell

B.S. in Education from Kent State University, in elementary education and music. PA Certification. Center for Montessori Teacher Education, NY – Montessori Administration Certification. Member of American Montessori Society, Head of Schools division. Member of the Greater Pittsburgh Montessori Society. Former first grade teacher, former music teacher, former preschool director and toddler/preschool teacher. Former trainer in Systematic Training for Effective Parenting. Lifelong volunteer with Delta Zeta National Sorority. Mother of two children. Associated with the school since August 1992.

Maura German

B.S. in Elementary Education from Wheelock College and Master in Special Education from University of New Orleans. Preprimary Montessori training from Montessoir World Educational Institute. Former Elementary and Special Education teacher. Former WPMS Yellow Room teacher. Former WPMS Substitute teacher. Current All Day (M) teacher. Mother of four children. Associated with WPMS since 1998.

Bea Lancellotti

B.S. in Art and Education from Ladycliff College. Preprimary (3-6) certification from Montessori St. Nicholas Center, London, England. PA Certification. Volunteer with Jubilee Soup Kitchen, Verland Foundation, and Meals on Wheels. WPMS morning & afternoon 3-6 teacher. Mother of three children. Associated with WPMS from 1993-1995, and since June 1999.

Laura Lankes

Attended Muskingham College. Interned with WPMS in 1994. Former WPMS after school supervisor, toddler assistant and administrative assistant. Manager of two Giant Eagle “Eagles Nest’s” and former prek teacher. Montessori Infant/Toddler training through North American Montessori Center 2004/2005. WPMS Toddler teacher. Mother of one son. Associated with WPMS from 1994-1996, and since July 2004.

Kathy Montello

B.A. in Arts & Social Sciences from University of Pittsburgh and Master of Early Childhood Education from Carlow College. Montessori Early Childhood Certification from Carlow College. Former Montessori 3-6 teacher. Former infant/toddler teacher. WPMS All Day teacher. Mother of three children. Associated with WPMS from December 2001.

Sharon Shanks

B.A. in History from Denison University and Elementary Education certification from the University of Pittsburgh. AMS preprimary (3-6) certification from AERCO Montessori Teacher Training Program. PA certification. Former WPMS all day and half day teacher, intern and board member. Former childcare owner/teacher. AM & PM Extended Day teacher. Mother of one daughter. Associated with WPMS from 1988-1990, 1992-1993, and since June 2000.

Linda Barton

Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Education/Dietetics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. PrePrimary (3-6) training at Center for Montessori Teacher Education/Altoona 2006/2008. Yellow Room teacher/intern. Former early childhood center teacher. Former Girl Scout leader, and field trip parent in Mars School District. Former All Day class morning assistant, former Yellow morning assistant. Mother of three children. Associated with WPMS since summer 2002.

Karen Clark

Ten years experience with All Saints Preschool as a teacher’s aide. Current afternoon All Day class assistant and Afterschool Supervisor. Mother of three children. Associated with WPMS since October 2004.

Linda Clogan

B.S. from University of Pittsburgh @ Johnstown in Math and Computer Science. Experience with young children through North Allegheny Schools, Girl Scouts and Vacation Church School. Mother of three children. Morning All Day class assistant. Associated with WPMS since June 2005.

Fran Head

B.S. from Slippery Rock University in Elementary Education. PA Certification. Former Home Room mother in North Hills School District, Cub Scout leader. WPMS assistant in the morning and afternoon 3-6 classes. Mother of four sons. Member of the Greater Pittsburgh Montessori Society. Associated with WPMS since 1990.

Jan Jenny

Attended Taylor University and Allegheny Community College. Former library coordinator at Eden Christian Academy. Former morning and afternoon 3-6 assistant. Current WPMS morning & afternoon assistant. Mother of two children. Associated with WPMS since January 1995.

Linda Siger

Attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Experience in Art Education with elementary and college students. Art teacher for the Blackburn Center. Current Toddler assistant PM 3-6 assistant. Mother of two children. Associated with WPMS since April 2003.

Cathy Zuza

B.S. in Elementary Education from The University of Maryland.
Former elementary substitute teacher and WPMS assistant teacher. Current AM & PM 3-6 assistant. Mother of four children. Associated with WPMS since August 2000.

Cathy Howard B.S. in Business Administration from Penn State University with a major in accounting. Former WPMS assistant teacher. Mother of two WPMS graduate daughters.
